Hoofbeats is an accredited therapeutic riding center only 10 minutes from W&L’s campus. They are looking for a summer intern who is interested in exploring their own passions and talents. They would like support with the everyday operations of their non-profit as well as a few special projects.

Created in 1993, Hoofbeats is a soft spot to land for adults and children in our community who face challenges, including learning difficulties, trauma, depression and anxiety, brain injury, developmental delay, chronic illness, and autism to name a few. Through our mission, Horses Helping People, we provide a place that is warm, accepting, and real for people to come for support. We also provide a place for people to share their gifts. Our goal is to support the acquisition of life skills, social skills, communication skills, and to build relationships. Learn more about Hoofbeats here: https://hoof-beats.com/
